Hello. My name is Liubov Rodenko and I am a high school teacher at Fuzhou Concord College of Sino-Canada.
In 2014 I graduated with a Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Education majoring in English and Japanese Languages.
In 2016 I obtained a Cambridge University Global English Teacher Qualification Certificate CELTA pass B.
I have 10 years of teaching experience and I have worked with a range of students varying from primary school students to adult learners.
I have taught many different subjects over the course of my career, including English Language Arts, Social Studies, Academic Reading and Writing, Study Skills for Independent Learning, IELTS exam preparation, Drama, and others, but regardless of the subject I believe my main responsibility as a teacher, is to develop important character traits in my students. Work ethic, respect, empathy and discipline are only some of the qualities that we hone in my class on a daily basis. I believe that if my students can demonstrate these qualities outside the classroom, they will be successful no matter what they do.
In terms of general principles guiding my teaching in any educational context, recognizing and meeting students’ needs, fostering students’ autonomy, and making the process of learning meaningful are most important to me. I also believe that true learning should be fun, hands-on, and challenging.
As an experienced educator, I understand that all children are unique and have something special to bring to their own education. My role as a teacher will be to assist each student in developing their own potential and learning styles.
My teaching style is largely based on principles of cognitivism, where the students are actively involved in the learning process just as the teacher is. Students are asked to reflected upon what they have learned, how they would solve various problems presented to them through the classes. Learners are also expected to justify why they have answered in this way, why they decided to use this solution to their problem. Students are also encouraged to participate in classroom discussion and present their own ideas and opinions about the content that we are learning about. In doing so, students will hopefully be able to explore and understand how various ideas are connected. As a teacher, I hope to present my content in a manner that allows students to experience this style of learning.
I am a firm believer that education is the key to success. This all begins in the classroom and it is my role to provide a stimulating educational environment. This is an environment where students can grow educationally, but also mentally, emotionally and socially. My classroom will be a safe environment where students are encouraged to share their ideas and take risks.
I have been living and working in China for seven years and I love this country so much. The people I have met here are friendly and accommodating and have made living and working in China much easier. Exploring China’s extensive history and diversity of culture and cuisine are just two of the many reasons I enjoy living here. Moreover, China has become a truly special place for my family and me because it is the country where two years ago my lovely daughter was born. It is a pleasure to see her growing in such a safe and friendly environment, being a part of this society and sharing its culture.
Teaching at Fuzhou Concord College of Sino-Canada has been one of the highlights of my career. I have the pleasure of teaching what I love and seeing my students flourish gives me a newfound joy, one that I keep finding every day.

就指导我在任何教育背景下的教学的一般原则而言，认识和满足学生的需要，培养学生的自主性，使学习过程变得有意义，对我来说是最重要的。我也相信，真正的学习应该是有趣的、实践的和具有挑战性的。
作为一名经验丰富的教育工作者，我深知所有的孩子都是独一无二的，都有一些特别的东西可以带给自己的教育。作为一名教师，我的角色将是帮助每个学生开发自己的潜力和学习方式。
我的教学风格主要是基于认知主义的原则，学生和老师一样积极参与学习过程。学生被要求反思他们所学到的知识，他们将如何解决通过课堂呈现给他们的各种问题。学习者也要说明自己为什么会这样回答，为什么决定用这种方法来解决问题。同时也鼓励学生参与课堂讨论，对我们所学的内容提出自己的想法和观点。在这样做的过程中，希望学生能够探索和理解各种想法之间的联系。作为一名教师，我希望能将自己的内容以一种方式呈现出来，让学生体验这种学习方式。
我坚信，教育是成功的关键。这一切都始于课堂，我的职责是提供一个激励的教育环境。在这个环境中，学生不仅可以在教育上得到成长，还可以在心理、情感和社交方面得到发展。我的课堂将是一个安全的环境，鼓励学生分享他们的想法和承担风险。
我已经在中国生活和工作了七年，我非常喜欢这个国家。我在这里遇到的人都很友好和包容，让我在中国的生活和工作变得更加轻松。探索中国悠久的历史和多样的文化和美食只是我喜欢在这里生活的众多原因中的两个。此外，中国对我和我的家人来说是一个真正特殊的地方，因为两年前我可爱的女儿在这里出生。很高兴看到她在这样一个安全友好的环境中成长，成为这个社会的一部分，分享它的文化。
在福州中加学校任教是我职业生涯中的一个亮点。我很高兴能教我喜欢的东西，看到我的学生茁壮成长，让我有一种新的快乐，我每天都在不断地寻找这种快乐。
